Bible Rescue Project

Ever wonder what to do with your old Bibles, hymnal or children's Sunday school curriculum?  Cornerstone Church is happy to partner with Steve Schmidt at Love Packages in Butler, Illinois who knows exactly what to do!  Steve collects literally TONS of Bibles and Christian media and ships them all over the world.  Last year, Love Packages collected 1,000 tons of Christian literature to ship overseas.  Cornerstone Church serves as a collection station for Love Packages, storing donated materials waiting to be picked up by Steve's team. 

"God showed me the abundance of Christian literature that I had at my disposal and the tremendous lack of literature in third world nations.  Not realizing that everyone was as wasteful as I, I began to send my excess literature overseas. That first year my wife and I shipped sixty boxes of literature to missionaries in four countries. Soon the word spread about what we were doing.

Friends started bringing their excess literature to us for shipment overseas. We never realized or imagined that from that small seed God would build an ever increasing world outreach."  ~ Steve
